Patriots Dominate Cardinals

By on December 21, 2008 in ,

For the second consecutive week, the New England Patriots played like the 2007 squad. The Pats held veteran QB Kurt Warner to just 30 passing yards (186 total yards for the team) while racking up 514 yards of their own. Matt Cassell had another impressive outing, going 20-36 for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns. Randy Moss, Wess Welker, and Kevin Fault all caught TD’s, while LaMont Jordan had both of New England’s rushing TD’s.

The Patriots playoff hopes are still alive. If the Patriots can win their final game of the season, here are the playoff scenarios:

If the Ravens lose in week 17, the Patriots would take the AFC Wild Card.

If the Jets beat the Dolphins next week, the Patriots would win the hotly-contested AFC East.
